“Exchanging knowledge to improve the quality of programs and assure the safety of procedures in Living Donation”

Goals of the conference

The conference will set up a community of experts in Living Donation Programs named LIDOBS that will continue to expand and increase the knowledge on the donation and transplantation procedures. The latest evidence-based outcome of living donation procedures will be discussed in order to increase the overall quality and security of the donation procedures.

Objectives

  • The Conference is intended to facilitate exchanging knowledge to improve the quality of programs and assure the safety of procedures in Living Donation.
  • A common follow-up model for the Living Donors will be elaborated and offered to all the centres applying Living Donation programs.
  • A special consideration will be dedicated to the dissemination of the results from European financed Programmes on Living Donation.
