Nominated for Primarius in 2002 and for Counsellor in 2008 due to work on implementation of new treatments and the organization of transplant activities, implementation of education at the national level in the field of organ donation and transplantation medicine, publishing articles on the topic of infections in ICU, therapeutic bronchoscopy and donor management.
Director of the Institute for organ and tissue transplantation of the Republic Slovenia, Ljubljana, and first nomination in 2001 (re-elected in 2005, 2009 and 2013).
