Dr. Assumpta Ricart is doctor of Medicine (PhD), specialist in Intensive Care Medicine and Master in Hospital and Health Service Management. At that moment she’s the Director of the Emergency Department of the Vall d’Hebron Hospital. Throughout her professional life she has been involved in organ donation and transplantation as full and part time transplant coordinator (Hospital of Bellvitge and Clinic Hospital in Barcelona), as scientific research (EULID project) and teaching thanks to TPM project and also Consulting analyzing the functioning and organization of the Donation and Transplantation National Systems.
