Dr. David Paredes is a medical doctor and trained Nephrologist. He holds a Masters in Transplantation. He is a Certified European Transplant Coordinator and Senior Specialist in Donation and Transplant Coordination at the Hospital Clinic, in Barcelona, Spain. He is working actively in the field of Living Donor Protection Program in conjunction with the Ethical Committee and the Living Renal and Liver Transplant Programs of Hospital Clinic.
Dr. Paredes is an Associate Professor of the Surgical Department in the Faculty of Medicine, School of Medicine at the University of Barcelona, Spain. He is also a board member of the European Donation and Transplant Coordination Organization (EDTCO), which is a section of the European Society of Transplantation.
